WASBO CSRM: Administering School Risks

WASBO CSRM: Administering School Risks
This one-day session covers how a school risk manager implements and monitors the school risk management program, the risk management team, information technology, allocating costs, ethics in school risk management, and requests for proposals.

Topics include: Introduction to Administering School Risks, The School Risk Management Team, Communicating with the Risk Management Team, Implementing the Risk Management Program, and Monitoring the Risk Management Program.

A multiple-choice exam will be held at the end of the day. The exam is optional but strongly encouraged even for those who do not wish to earn the designation. The CSRM curriculum and national designation are provided by The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Five courses of study are required for CSRM designation including: Fundamentals of Risk Management, Handling School Risks, Measuring School Risks, Funding School Risks, and Administering School Risks. These sessions are also available as online courses and may be taken at your convenience.

Graduate credit through Viterbo University is available when taking Administering School Risks and providing documentation of passing grades for all five CSRM sessions.
