Midwest Supporting School Facilities Cast Member of the Year

Purpose of this Award

The Midwest Supporting School Facilities Cast Member of the Year Award honors an outstanding school facilities professional whose reliability, leadership and dedication make a meaningful difference every day. Whether serving as a supervisor, manager, head custodian, shift lead, or in a similar role, these professionals lead from behind the scenes by taking ownership of their schools, supporting coworkers, building trusted relationships with students and staff, and consistently delivering high-quality service. This award recognizes an individual whose work ethic, ingenuity, professionalism, and commitment strengthen their district, community, and the school facilities profession. To qualify, the nominee must have been in their position for a minimum of three years, and not serve as the director or head of the facilities department.

To nominate a district professional for the 2026 Midwest Supporting School Facilities Cast Member of the Year, please complete the following form. Nominations accepted through September 20, 2026. Winners will be notified on October 2, 2026. 

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, the nominee must have been in their position for a minimum of 3 years, and not serve as the director or head of the facilities department.

  10. Advocate for the School District
  11. Provides Excellent Customer Service

Recognition

The winner of the Supporting Facilities Cast Member Award will be recognized at that year's Midwest Facility Masters Conference. They will receive a complimentary conference registration.

Selection Process

The selection committee will include members of the Midwest Facility Masters Conference Planning Committee. The selection committee may request additional information or seek answers to questions at their discretion. The selection committee’s decision is final.
