About the Southwest Regional

Given the lengthy drive to Madison and West Central regional meetings, several school districts met in November 2005 to form a new WASBO Regional, the Southwest Regional (SWASBO). It was apparent from the beginning that this new regional was of great value to those in attendance. Sharing among themselves and bringing in resource people saved time and money. The group decided to hold their regional meetings at the CESA 3 office in Fennimore where they were offered meeting space.

Meeting Information

Southwest Regional typically meets quarterly on Thursdays at 9:00am at CESA #3 in Fennimore. Please check the WASBO Calendar and search "Southwest Regional" for meeting dates.

Please note: Regional Meetings are intended for school district employees only. Each regional group sets their own agenda items, and some topics may be of a confidential nature. Service Affiliate Members should contact the Regional Representative to receive permission to attend meetings, when the agenda is appropriate.
