Registrations received after 4 PM on May 12, 2021 cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt. We will try to place a second order of t-shirts based on the number of registrations that come in, and then ship after the event on June 5. WASBO will do everything we can to get you a commemorative shirt!

Go the distance with WASBO while helping raise money for our Scholarship Fund. With the 2021 Spring Conference & Exhibits going virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WASBO is providing a way for our members to connect virtually in a fun and competitive way. It also will serve as the first of only two scholarship fundraisers that WASBO hosts each year. WASBO’s annually awards over $23,000 in scholarships to students.

The challenge is simple: Register for the virtual event by 4 PM on May 12, which will include giving us your t-shirt size and address you'd like the shirt shipped to. We will then ship your WASBO Wellness Challenge t-shirt to you via USPS by June 3. All proceeds will go toward the WASBO Student Scholarships!

On June 5, do whatever you need to do for wellness, be it biking, walking, running, golfing, reading a book, taking a nap, trying a new recipe or anything else that makes you feel good, and post your photos wearing your shirt to the WASBO ConNectwork thread for this event.  Include a fun caption for a chance to win! Post by June 9 to be included for prizes.

What would a challenge be without winners and prizes?

Group Winner

• The WASBO Regional with the largest percentage of district professionals that sign up and participate (out of the number of members in that Regional) will win a free pizza party at their next in-person meeting (yes, we will meet again!).

Individual Winners

• The person who takes the funniest photo in their WASBO Wellness Challenge t-shirt that encompasses the spirit of wellness will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
• The person who takes the most creative/out of the box photo will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
• The person that takes the cutest pet photo will receive a $100 Amazon gift card.
