Cancellation Policy
All cancellations
must be in writing. Cancellations received prior to October 18 will
receive a full refund. Cancellations received October 19-25 will
receive a refund of their registration fees, minus $98 per cancelled
day, up to $196 for a full conference cancellation. No refunds will be
made for cancellations received on or after October 26 or for no shows at
the conference. Cancellations can be emailed to [email protected]. The Academy is a year-long learning opportunity. Please note that no refunds will be given after the Academy begins, regardless of whether you are unable to participate in subsequent sessions or virtual check-ins.
Hotel Accommodations
WASBO has negotiated a reduced rate at the The Lismore Hotel for our in person event dates.
Reservations at the group rate of $101 can be made for October 25 by calling the hotel directly at 715.835.8888 extension 0 and mentioning the group name WASBO/WCASS Special Education Budgeting Academy.
The group rate will be available until October 18, 2025 or (until the block is full). On this date, any remaining rooms in the block will be released for general reservations at the hotel's prevailing daily rate, which will likely be higher than our group rate. Guests will need to book by 9/25/2026
to get the special rate. Please note that parking in the City of Eau Claire ramp attached to the hotel has a discounted rate for our group of $7 per day, which will be charged to your guest room. For those not staying the night, the maximum cost of parking is $10 per day.
