The Fifth Step in the Risk Management Process

This course focuses on the final step of the risk management process—risk administration—and equips school leaders with the tools to effectively implement, monitor, and sustain a district-wide risk management program. Participants will explore how to build and lead a risk management team, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, manage RFPs and vendor contracts, and ensure alignment with the district’s strategic goals. The course emphasizes proactive risk management, ethical governance, compliance monitoring, and the use of data, benchmarking, and risk management information systems (RMIS) to support accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
