WASBO University's continuing education requirements

WASBO University offers courses that anyone can take as an individual course for their learning and growth. Additionally, WASBO offers certifications when select courses are completed. To earn a certification through WASBO U, complete the following steps outlined below.

20 hours every 3 year

Earned hours are applied to all certifications- do not need to do 20 hours/3 years for every certification someone has

Ways to earn CE hours:

• Take a WASBO U course not previously taken
• Attend a WASBO conference (maximum 8 hours allowed every 3 years towards the required 20 hours)
• Have a coach for a school year through the WASBO coaching program (maximum 8 hours allowed every 3 years towards the required 20 hours)

Double dipping on hours by attending a WASBO U course held in-person during a conference is not allowed (i.e. FCM modules).  Hours for the WASBO U course will be credited only.  If a WASBO U course is a separate pre-conference event, the WASBO U hours and the conference hours may be allowed.
