This course introduces the concept of internal controls for the school business office, what they are, why they’re important, and how to ensure their effectiveness. Learn how to protect against theft, fraud, or misuse of school district resources and produce reliable financial statements. These protections are essential for earning and maintaining taxpayer trust and support for the school district.
