WASBO & WCASS are bringing back the Special Education Budgeting Academy! Join us at strategic points throughout the year to ensure you make the most of your Special Education budget. Strengthen the collaboration between your Special Education Director and School Business Official through this year-long academy designed to build effective, sustainable budgeting and staffing models. The academy includes two in-person, hands-on training days and two virtual follow-up sessions spaced throughout the school year.

The association provides professional development, fosters a network of support, and advocates for funding that ensures outstanding educational opportunities for all children in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services (WCASS) exists to serve Wisconsin’s Special Education and Student Services leaders. The organization is devoted to students and student services leaders through professional learning, policy and legislative advocacy, and professional networking.
