Balance Sheet Accounting for School Districts

Learn how to accurately prepare, interpret, and manage balance sheets within the context of school district finance. This course covers the fundamentals of debits and credits, and provides a clear understanding of assets, liabilities, revenues, expenditures, and fund balance classifications. Participants will also explore bank deposits, interfund activities, and the internal controls necessary to ensure accurate and compliant year-end financial statements.
